It offers learners access to a variety of online courses depending upon their interest with topics spanning from programming to cartoon drawing. It distinguishes itself from other MOOC programs such as Coursera or FutureLearn by providing a platform for experts of any kind to create courses, promote them, and earn money by doing so. As of September 2015, Udemy boasts of serving over 8 million students taking more than 32,000 courses taught by more than 18,000 instructors.</p>
